United States Marine Corps

Serve.

As a combat correspondent, I reported, photographed, and produced stories while fulfilling the training, duties, and responsibilities expected of every Marine.

Teaching through video

The same craft, applied to software.

At Esri, I create instructional videos that help users understand GIS tools and workflows. The medium changes, but the job is still to guide an audience from uncertainty to confidence.

The through line

Continue.

Looking back, none of these experiences feel unrelated anymore.

Whether I was documenting Marines, producing films, explaining GIS software, or building websites for local businesses, the goal has remained the same: help people understand something they could not before.
